HOW WE WORK AT CHECKYETI
We interact directly and collaborate closely with people across the company, from the founders to the different teams (Content and Marketing, Sales & Operations, Product). Our warm working environment makes everybody feel welcomed, included and appreciated, independently of their position or seniority.
Within the business development team, all the members get the chance to take ownership and shape the markets and focus regions they are responsible for, from the very beginning.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
After an extensive onboarding and coaching by a senior Business Development Manager:
- You focus on a specific market, conduct research and plan its future expansion. ⛷️🏂
- You are responsible for acquiring new outdoor activity providers in your market, from planning your acquisition trips, to carrying them out.
- You build and maintain strategic, strong and long-term relationships with our international partners, to craft and ensure unforgettable experiences.
- You take care of managing provider performance and development (check KPIs, data analysis, key account management) in your market.
- You manage the portfolio of offers in your focus regions, ensuring a high level of quality and marketing relevance of the offering on our platform.
- You support and align closely with the other teams (especially Content, Marketing, and Sales & Operations) on all topics relating to your market.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You are a graduate in a social science or business-related field (Management, Tourism, Communication, Business Administration, Economics, etc.) or a talent from a different sector.
- You are fluent (C1) in English and German - other languages, such as Italian, or Nordic languages, are a plus.
- You have a driver’s license and are willing to travel 8-12 weeks per year. 🗺️
- You are flexible, able to quickly adapt to changes, eager to learn from your colleagues and open to give and receive feedback.
- You are a true team player, who enjoys new challenges, making things happen and working towards common goals. 🎯
- You share our passion for outdoor sports, and are keen to work in a dynamic start-up.
- Previous experience in the tourism/hospitality industry, a startup or a top management consulting firm, is a plus.

- A monthly salary of €1,700 gross + potential performance bonus for excellent work (up to €255 per month paid at the end of the internship).
5-6 months internship starting in October - alternative dates can be discussed on a case-to-case basis.
