HOW WE WORK AT CHECKYETI

We interact directly and collaborate closely with people across the company, from the founders to the different teams (Content and Marketing, Sales & Operations, Business Development). Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact our product and the millions of people using it. In line with the ambition to build first-class & sustainable solutions, our colleagues value knowledge and reasoning over seniority.

We employ agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum with a constant focus on delivering value to the customer. We work with a modern tech stack (React/JS in the front-end, Java microservices in the back-end), employ short release cycles (3-5 weekly) and run our platform on a cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services).

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Work on innovative concepts and transform them into actionable projects.
  • Translate business needs into clearly specified requirements for the team.
  • Support the team in delivering outstanding quality (provide clear acceptance criteria, define and run test cases).
  • Lead the implementation team to ensure an efficient and on-time project delivery.
  • Build deep knowledge about our business and our users to shape the future development of our product.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have a know-how of Agile Methods (Scrum) and Software Development processes.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a very structured and diligent working style.
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • You have a high level of personal commitment and flexibility.
  • You are fluent (C1) in English - our primary working language.
  • You have a valid EU/Austria visa/work permit.
  • You have at least 3 years' experience as Product Owner/Project manager.
  • Background in consumer-centric web products, particularly with e-commerce/online marketplaces, is a big plus.
