As a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you play a crucial role in leading the performance marketing function, overseeing the development of marketing strategies and campaigns, managing a team of professionals, and ensuring constant alignment with the company’s goals and strategy.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • You develop and implement performance marketing strategies, shaping our approach to digital customer acquisition and retention in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
  • You manage different performance marketing channels and take full ownership of the relevant processes and tools
  • You launch and manage campaigns across various platforms and channels (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Twitter Ads).
  • You constantly monitor campaign performance metrics and create insightful reports, including in-depth analysis of our core marketing KPIs.
  • You develop and manage the performance marketing budget, allocating resources effectively, incl. forecasting the impact of marketing campaigns on our revenue and contribution margin. 
  • You keep a close watch on historical data, industry benchmarks, and use your performance marketing knowledge and previous experience to develop new projects and adjust strategies.
  • You explore new and innovative opportunities for increasing our marketing visibility and customer base.
  • You lead day-to-day communication with agencies and key partners to execute performance campaigns and initiatives.
  • You manage and coach a high-performing, multi-market/multi-language performance marketing team.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams, working closely with other departments (especially Product and Business Development) to design robust tech/tool-supported process improvements and automations.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 3+ years of relevant experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or similar fields.
  • You have 2+ experience in managing people and held a role with a high degree of responsibilities.
  • You have a deep knowledge and understanding of current marketing tools and channels (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok, and other ad networks).
  • You are proficient in using data analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, other BI tools) to measure and analyse campaign performance and user behaviour.
  • You are data-driven and have great analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex data and make informed decisions about marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • You have experience in managing budgets, optimizing campaigns effectively and reporting on key performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • You are detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, a true team player with hands-on mentality and openness to feedback.
  • You are up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, as well as industry best practices to optimize marketing campaigns. 
  • You are fluent in English and in one of our core languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch).
  • You are passionate about the outdoors & nature, and/or the travel & tourism industry.
